Dinesh join two square of area 81 cm square and 36 CM square together what is a perimeter of new figure

Step-by-step explanation:

area of the square ABCD = 81 cm²

area of square = (side)²

81 = (side)²

side = 9 cm

so , AB= BC= CD= DA = 9 cm

as all the sides of the square are equal

similarly

area of square BEFG = (side)²

36 = (side)²

side = 6 cm

therefore,

BE = EF = FG = GB= 6 cm

here,

EC =BC- BE = 9-6 = 3 cm

and perimeter of the new figure = sum of all the sides

= AB + CD + DA+ EC+ EF+ GB+ FG

= 9+9+ 9+ 3+6+6+6 = 48 cm

hence ,

The perimeter of the new figure is 48 cm
