Dinosaurs unfortunately never actually wrote diaries.How do we know so much about them?

archaeologists found bones of different types of dinosaurs. They examined it and they researched it till they thought that there was an animal which looks like a lizard but too big. that is why it is also known as "terrible lizard" which means dinosaur in greek language. So, we know about them.
