When a decorative colour paper is dipped into water, the following changes take place -
• The paper becomes soggy and very soft because it absorbed a lot of water.
In this case the paper will become very fragile until it gets dry again.
• The water in which the paper was dipped became slightly colourful because the colour which was applied in the paper will get dissolved into the water.
This happens due to the great dissolving capabilities of the water.
