direct proportion:- Two quantities said to be in direct proportion if one increases another increases too. for ex:- number of pen is 1 which cost is Rs 10. whereas number of pen is 10 it cost increases to Rs 100. here number of pen increases the cost increases too. and if number of pen decreases the cost decreases too.

Indirect proportion:- Two quantities said to be in indirect proportion of one increases another decreases. for ex:- number of worker is 1 he will work in 10 days. if number of worker is 2 they will work in 5 days. number of worker increases the days decreases.
