=> Dickson said that he was on his way to London to find his future.

• Here, reported verb is in past tense and reported speech is in simple present. So, put that instead of the comma (,) and 1st person (I) changes in 3rd person (he) according to the reported verb, "my" changes to "his",verb changes into past form during changing the sentence in indirect speech.

2. Mr Behrman asked Suzanne, "Why did you allow these thoughts to enter her mind? "

=> Mr. Behrman asked Suzanne why she allowed those thoughts to enter her mind.

• Here, the reported verb is in past tense and reported speech is in simple present tense. Note that, it is also interrogative. So, in indirect speech, the WH word (Why) stays the same. verb changes in past form. And "these " changes into "those" during changing into indirect speech.
