Given : Right angle triangle

To find :   value of x and y

Solution:

Tan ( angle)  =  Perpendicular /  Base

Sin  ( angle)  =  Perpendicular /  Hypotenuse

Cos  ( angle)  = Base /  Hypotenuse

Side opposite to angle is Perpendicular

Side adjacent to  angle is Base

Longest side is hypotenuse ( opposite to right angle )

Cos 60° = 6/x  =>  1/2 = 6/x => x = 12

tan  30° = 10/x  =>  1/√3 = 10/x => x = 10√3

sin 30° = x/16  =>  1/2 =  x/16 => x =  8

Similarly other can be found
