1. Fresco - a painting done rapidly in watercolour on wet plaster on a wall or ceiling, so that the colours penetrate the plaster and become fixed as it dries. Ex: Michelangelo's paintings in the Sistine Chapel
2. Encaustic - Encaustic painting, also known as hot wax painting, involves using heated beeswax to which colored pigments are added. The liquid or paste is then applied to a surface—usually prepared wood, though canvas and other materials are often used.
3. Panel Art - A panel is a rigid support or surface for painting on.
4. Tomb Painting - These paintings were there to help the person in the afterlife. They often depicted the person buried passing into the afterlife. They would show scenes of this person happy in the afterlife.
5. Stained glass - Stained glass, in the arts, the coloured glass used for making decorative windows and other objects through which light passes.
