Given : Data of tourist Visiting Data

To find : number of tourists who visited Red Fort

Solution:

Total Tourist = 800

India Gate = (60/100) 800 = 480

Visiting only Akshardham  = 140

Red Fort R = I ∩ R   + I ∩ A -  2(I  ∩ R ∩ A)

=> I ∩ R   + I ∩ A = R + 2(I  ∩ R ∩ A)

only India Gate = 190

All three places I  ∩ R ∩ A = 480/3 = 160

Only India Gate = I - I ∩ R  - I ∩ A + (I  ∩ R ∩ A)

= I -  (R +  2(I  ∩ R ∩ A)) + (I  ∩ R ∩ A)

=> 190 = 480 - (R + 2 * 160) + 160

=> -450 = -(R + 320)

=> R = 130

Tourists visited Red Fort = 130

All three places = 160
