Complex Sentences =  1 complete thought combined with an incomplete thought and a subordinator (and possibly a comma);

         some subordinators: because, if, when, while, although, since, that, which, who, what, where, etc.  

 

1.    Since I got a promotion, I got a chance to go to school. 

 

    I got a chance to go to school since I got a promotion 

 

 

2.     I want some knowledge about this language because I have serious problems understanding
