Lugiawarned the author not to buy the strawberries as he thought that the strawberries were not fresh n were wild.
But according 2 d author the strawberries were nt that bad n he should buy the strawberries for the poor boys to make them happy n to help them financially...Lugia was not reputed in authors eyes as he didn't want to help the boys (IT'S INDICATED WHEN HE SAYS THAT HE COULD BUY EVEN MORE HYGENIC BERRIES IN D TOWN...this shows his disapproval for the idea of buying strawberries )
