normal rectal route is good for drug administration because the haemorrhaidal vein directly drain into inferior vena cava avoiding hepatic first pass metabolism so its absorption is great however the disadvantages includes

people who had done anal surgeries or rectal surgeries could not use this way and ethically people dislike this way of drug administration
