Disadvantages of a plain?

plains will do not have any valleys [ups and downs on the surface of the plain] so that the water goes on flowing it never stops  . and also when flood occurs then there will be no boundaries to the rivers so the water flows into the villages and cities . so that the villages and cities which lives on the plains will sink into the river.thus due to this many places may become vanished and many of the people may die .

The biggest disadvantage of plains is that floods can easily come there as there are no boundaries or protection like hills.
