Disadvantages of combine harvester:
- Combine harvesters are versatile machines that can efficiently harvest a variety of grain crops with three separate operations of reaping, threshing, and winnowing in a single process.
- The most basic disadvantage lies in its cost. Due to this very reason, it has become problematic for the farmers as for them it appears to be too much for one farm to buy and keep solely to themselves for their own use.
- The second disadvantage lies in its size. Due to this reason, they are difficult to transport on a low loader to distant farms. They are impotent of using in small areas and unfit for any indoor use. They are best used in large and open fields.
