Disadvantages of constitution
One of the biggest disadvantages is that many people do not understand what is written and will use modern or alternate definitions for words, they do not understand the history of why some things are placed within this document, or have just bern told and accepted what they been told.
When reading the constitution, i dont mean just quickly going through it, I mean really reading it. One has to understand the history that places the document in context, the federalist papers go a long way in giving us insight to what the authors used as argument on why the confederacy was not able to continue.
The problem is not with the constitution, but rather the loose translation of people reading it and not understanding it. No the problem is with people not taking the time to learn, but who rather be told.
