Drawbacks of Jhum cultivation in India:

1. It uses a lot of land from the forest.
2. It also need to burn the trees present in the forest so that they get fertile land.
3. It also pollutes air because of burning a large amount of trees.
4. It needs to leave the forest and follow for many years.
5. It also makes a risk of occurrence of forest fire.
