Answer:

The answer depends on what and where you get you morals. Are they dictated to you are they unchanging because of a dangerous dogmatic belief system? Or do your morals relate to what makes the population the happiest and most successful?

There is no objective morality. There can always be a situation where what you think of as immoral would be the best thing to do.

Would you pull a lever to change a train route if there were five people tied to the train line? I hope so, you save 5 people.

Now what if you pull the lever, you save the 5 but the lever sends the train to the end of the line killing the driver? You save 5 for 1. Now its moral dilemma, ther is no correct answer. Your morals are now 100% subjective and on you, nothing and noone else changes anything.

What i am trying to say is morals are not absolute. Would you kill someone to stop them murdering your children? I hope so, but the bible says you should not commit murder. So i wouldn’t go to the bible for morals. Some of it is good some of it is VERY bad and YOU choose which parts, which you think are right and wrong. This shows again that morals are not absolute and are very subjective.

Is it moral to test someone, to see if they are willing to kill their son for you, then call it off just to see if they would do it? NO it isn’t, not in my opinion. AGAIN showing how subjective morals are.

So its impossible to answer your question, although some have, without knowing the situation. This is because…you guessed it, THERE ARE NO MORAL ABSOLUTES.
