1) Sometimes it causes damage to those organisms which is not the target. Many beneficial organisms that is necessary for the ecosystem is killed by this method.
2) Less effective on large scale due to high cost of tools and instruments and sometimes management issues.
3) More labour is required for the installation of instruments in the field.
