Disadvantages of rythu bandhu scheme
Answers
According to the Rythu Bandhu scheme, the farmers of Telangana have pointed that the expenses of cultivation are actually borne by the cultivator of the land.
In such cases, the cultivator is not the actual title holder of the land.
While this scheme is supporting the farmers, it will not actually reach the ones who are investing their money in all the sessions.
In 2014, around 3500 farmers have committed suicide and 60% of these farmers are not the actual title holders of the land.
Therefore, Rythu Bandhu should be designed in a way that it refrains these tenant farmers from going into losses despite their attempts at cultivation.
This scheme was introduced in 2018, it was originated to support the farmers of the Telangana state. In this scheme the farmers will get the financial support twice a year.
The idea behind this scheme was to support the farmers so that their productivity could increase and ultimately the State’s output or GNP increases.
The crops which will be benefited from this scheme are Rabi and Kharif crops.
People can actually donate in this scheme in order to help the farmers better.
