Explanation:

1) when we attach the appliances in series combination. Sometimes due to short circuit one of the appliance can be damaged if in parallel but if in series itay damage more than one appliances..

2) Whenever we need to switch on a appliance the other appliances too will be switched on, so we cannot switch on one appliance at a time. All will get switch on and off at the same time.

3) Since some appliances required more current but not all. If these appliances which require more current are connected in series with which require less current. The appliances requiring less current will burn due to over flow of current.
