1)if any diseases occurs in the mother plant then it will get transmitted to the child plant
2)since many plants r produced ,it results in overcrowding and lack in nutrition

Disadvantages of Vegetative propagation:

- There is no genetic variation and plants are less adaptable to environment.
- The diseases of parent plants are transferred to offsprings.
