Disadvantages of world war 1 are the hate just changed allegiance and the birth of the Soviet Union. Millions of lives lost, millions of dollars wasted and in the aftermath, it directly contributed to the rise of Adolph Hitler and World War 2.

The World War - 1 ended witht eh Treaty of Versailles .

The Treaty was not a peaceful treaty and it created hatred among nations.

The terms of the treaty was dictated against the defeated powers and was designed to prevent Germany from going to war again.

It took away several territories of Germany and resulted in revenge.


Hitler took the revenge by starting the Second World War and it only led to more destruction rather than peace .


In a nutshell the disadvantages are :

1. The War led to economic depression.

2. It resulted in Second World War.

3. It resulted in death and destruction.

4. Civilians were killed .

5. Many innocent countries got involved.

6. Many soldiers died .

7. It led to agricultural down growth .
