Cause of disaster

There are natural disasters like earthquakes , tornadoes , hurricanes or tsunami that happens because of weather or other natural conditions.

people can also cause disaster like causing an oil spill or starting a forest fire.

Man made disaster

Disaster that have an element of human intent

, negligence or error involving a failure of mam made system , as opposed to natural disasters resulting from natural hazards .

Natural disaster

A natural disaster is a major adverse event resulting from natural processes of earth .

Examples -

  • Floods
  • Earthquakes

Side effects of Disaster

Disaster may be natural or man made .

  2. You may also loose your home, community or possessions.
  3. Such stressors place you at a risk for physical and emotional health problems.

Remedies for disaster

Natural based solutions such as conserving forests, wetlands and coral reefs , can help communities prepare for , cope with, and recover from disaster , including slow onset events such as drought. They can also reduce the secondary impact from non climate related disaster such as landslides following an earthquake.
