Discouse about democracy in india how is our government system different from korea

India : The system is a parliamentary democracy more or less like the British United Kingdom system with a constitution. They have a central government that has authority over the 29 union states and 7 union territories. On paper this is the most democratic system, but in reality it is a very divided union. It is divided by language / ethnicity, by territory, by religious groups, by cast and many more. They have unwritten religious laws and tradition that divide the people. By this unwritten tradition the ultimate power in the country is in the hand of the majority Hindu group and by their highest cast, where all the capital is accumulated. All the lower cast and all the other religious groups has no say in the power sharing. In my personal opinion India has forgotten the teaching and spirit of Mahatma Gandhi. Korea:The ultimate power is in the hand of one person [hereditary] the Chairman of the Party and the Army and President. On paper they have the 3 branches of government and their officials are just like in a western style democracy. Hope it helps
