Jim Corbett tells about Kunwar Singh that he has learned the skill of reading jungle from him. Corbett has learned and developed the skill during his early career. He has learned the skill of making mental maps and understanding the topography of the jungle. He has an addiction to opium which led him to fall sick. Corbett drove away from the superstitious belief of the tribal people and helped in curing Kunwar Singh.
