The surface of the moon contains vacuum and we cannot talk with each other on the surface of the moon because sound doesn't travel in vacuum.There is no atmosphere on moon so we cannot breathe without cylinder of oxygen gas.

Explanation:

Surface of moon is cobered with regolith which is known as soil of moon. It's soil is greyish white and reflects light of sun. Moon has no atmosphere so there is no protection against direct sun rays and small meteorites always collide with moon because of no atmosphere it don't have protection from it. Surface of moon is covered with large and small craters due of collision of meteorites. It has many minerals and elements which are rare on earth.
