group of cell performing specific function is called tissue. tissue which is made up of a group of cells which divide continuously and very fast is called meristematic tissue. it's type are - apical meristem ,intercalary meristem and lateral meristem. permanent tissue is composed of cells that have attained their definite form and size. it's type is simple permanent tissue and complex permanent tissue.
