5x²-6x+1= 0 with ax²+bx+c = 0 ,we

get,

a = 5 , b = -6 , c = 1

Discreminant ( D ) = b² - 4ac

= (-6)² - 4×5×1

= 36 - 20

= 16

Therefore ,

D = 16
