We know that,

Discriminant = b^2 - 4ac

on rearranging the equation, we get, 16x^2 - 24x - 1

then, in this equation, a = 16, b = -24 and c = -1

so, -24^2 - (4 × 16 × -1)

=576 + 64

= 640

We know that the discriminators of an equation is :-

b^2 -4ac

So the answer is :-

24 * 24 - 4*16*1 =

256 - 64 = 192
