Answer:

answer is -124

Step-by-step explanation:

given equation (x + 5)^2 = 2(5x -3 )

solving the equation we get : x^2 + 25 + 10x = 10x - 6. ( here 10x from RHS and LHS will get canceled)

now the equation become x^2 + 25 + 6

X^2 + 31 (new equation)

now the discriminent is b^2 - 4ac

from the new equation

b = 0

a = 1

c = 31

putting all the values in the discriment equation we get

(0)^2 - 4 × 1 × 31 = - 124

hope this would be useful to you !!!!!
