poverty is very big problem in India .more than half of population suffers through it .even today children die out of hunger. various policies have been made by the govt to eradicate poverty such as providing food to the poor at a very minimal price , rasan card so that the food is available to the poor . NREP(national rural employment plan) to provide employment to the poor , NFBS (nation al family benefit scheme), prime minister integrated urban poverty eradication programme (pmiupep)... are the some policies made to eradicate poverty in India by Indian govt
