Ball-and-socket joints, such as the shoulder and hip joints, allow backward, forward, sideways, and rotating movements. Hinge joints. Hinge joints, such as in the fingers, knees, elbows, and toes, allow only bending and straightening movements. Pivot joints.

Different types of Joints are :-

Ball and Socket Joint

Ballia and Socket Joint looks like there is a ball fixed in a socket. That's why it is called Ball and Socket Joint. Ball and Socket Joint allows you to move in all directions.

Example:- Shoulder Joint, Hip Joint.

Immovable Joint

Immovable Joint present in Skull. The joint is immovable it can't be moved.

Hinge Joint

Hinge Joint present in your knee. It is like a Hinge of a door. It allows you to move only in 2 directions.
