Famous Speech “Tryst with Destiny” given by Jawaharlal Nehru:

“Tryst with Destiny “ was given by first Prime Minister of India on the occasion of Independence declaring the Independence on midnight stroke of 15th August 1947. It is said to have been dreamt ever since the day of 26th January 1930 remarked as the Purna Swaraj Diwas.

The speech was given on the independence day in 1947 but the first remark of independence was declared being the president of Indian National Congress was done on the 26th January 1930 as Purna Swaraj Diwas as the Independence Day.
