A spherical mirror is a part of a spherical sphere of glass. there are two types of spherical mirrors, concave (curved inwards) and convex (bulging outwards)

these mirror form real and inverted and virtual and erect images respectively. Note that Concave mirror also forms a virtual image if the object is between pole and principal focus
