Components of Environment :-

There are three types of components of Environment are :

(1) Natural Environment

(2) Human Environment

(3) Human made Environment

Natural Environment :-

The natural Environment comprises living beings like micro - organisms , plants and animals including man.

These Environment include are :-

(1) Atmosphere ( Air) :-

An envelope of air that surrounds the earth is called atmosphere. Atmosphere is covered by 78%. It is found in air.

(2) Hydrosphere (Water) :-

The hydrosphere is the part of the earth's surface, covered with water is called hydrosphere. Hydrosphere is covered by 71%. It is found in rivers , lakes , seas , oceans , ponds etc.

(3) Lithosphere (Land) :-

The solid crust of rocks forming the surface of the earth is called lithosphere. Lithosphere is covered by 1%. Lithosphere is found in land.

(5) Biosphere (Living things):-

The narrow contact zone between the Lithosphere , the hydrosphere and the Atmosphere which support life is called biosphere.

Natural Environment are of two types :-

(1) Biotic components :-

Biotic components are those components which are composed by living organisms is called biotic components. For example :- fish , lion , tiger etc.

(2) Abiotic components :-

Abiotic components are those components which are composed by non - living things is called abiotic components. For example :- Bed , table , chair etc.

Human Environment :-

The human environment consist of man and he has the ability to change the environment is called human environment. He made buildings , parks , bridges , roads , industries , monuments etc.

Human made Environment :-

The human made component of the environment are the creations by human beings which include bridges, roads, dams, parks and monument etc. The human environment consists of the individual and his interactions which include the following: Family. Community.

Environment mainly consists of atmosphere, hydrosphere, lithosphere and biosphere. But it can be roughly divided into two types such as

(a) Micro environment refers to the immediate local surrounding of the organisms.

(b) Macro environment. It can also be divided into two other types such as

(c) Physical environment to all abiotic factors or conditions like temperature, rainfall and soil....etc

(d) Biotic environment include all biotic factors or living forms like plants ,animals and micro-organisms.
