The philosophy and ideals of the Indian Constitution are reflected in the Preamble to the Constitution of India. Our Constitution may be said to be an expansion and explanation of the Preamble. Supreme Court Chief Justice, Justice Subba Rao opined, “Preamble contains, in a nutshell, its ideals and its aspirations.”
