Discuss action of PNP transistor in common collector mode??
Answers
Answer:
EXACTLY the same as the common collector mode of a NPN transistor. The only difference will be the direction of major carrier flow is reversed ie basically the only difference is the symbol(As holes and electrones have opposite directions of flow anyway).
PNP is avoided because as far as manufacturing is concerned it is bulky and as far as speed of operations is concerned, holes are slower than electrones. So it is obviously avoided.
