India being a diverse country faced various difficulties while drawing up its Constitution. The problems were: During the making of the Constitution, the people of India were emerging from the status of subjects to that of citizens. The partition of the country happened on the basis of religious differences.

1) How to frame a constitution that can satisfy a huge population of around 360 million people that too with distinct culture and heritage.

2) How to ensure democracy for all citizens of the country & what should be the limits of the democracy .
