Those nutrients which are required by the body in very less quantity are called micro minerals

Example : Iron, Iodine, Chromium.


\textbf{\underline{Iron}}: It is the essential for the formation of hemoglobin. it's deficiency can cause Anemia. It is found in red meats, fish poultry; shellfish (especially clams).
and also found in dried fruits,;dark, leafy green etc.


\textbf{\underline{Iodine}}: It is significant for thyroid function. It's sources are seafood, foods grown in iodine - rich soil, iodized salt, bread.


\textbf{\underline{Chromium}}: It work closely with insulin to regulate blood sugar levels. It is found in unrefined foods, especially liver, brewer's yeast, whole grains, nuts and cheeses.
