Attribution theory states that when we observe an individual’s behavior, we attempt to determine whether it was internally or externally caused. Perception is caused by a person’s own behavior or experience.
Example, a person buys a product from the local market, the quality of the product and the service given to it is not upto that person’s attribution, then she/he forms a perception that all local brands of that product are bad.
2) There are perceptions as to how one should adapt to a particular role. For example, If an employee is expected to behave in a certain way, he/she is briefed about it and if it is not carried out by the employee, then, a perception of non-compliance is formed about him/her.
