The consequences of 1st Battle of Panipat ( 20 April 1526) were:
It broke the power of Ibrahim Lodi and his dynasty and brought entire area upto Delhi and Agra under Babur’s control.
This was the official beginning of Mughal dynasty.
Ibrahim Lodi and his 15,000 men died in the battle.
Many of Babur’s begs/ baigs (commanders) wanted to return to Kabul, however, Babur was in no mood to return to the impoverished Afghan land.
