India has two coastal plains - Eastern Coastal plain and Western Coastal plain.
Eastern coastal plain lies in the eastern side of India adjacent to Bay of Bengal. It includes West Bengal, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and has more width than Western coastal plain.
Western coastal plain lies in the western part of India adjacent to Arabian Sea and includes Maharashtra, Goa , Kerala , Karnataka.
Lakshwadeep island and few coral islands are found in the Arabian sea.
Andaman and Nicobar islands are found in Bay of Bengal and is a famous tourist spot.
