Consequences of deforestation
The loss of trees and other vegetation can cause climate change, desertification, soil erosion, fewer crops, flooding, increased greenhouse gases in the atmosphere, and a host of problems for indigenous people.
Causes of Deforestation
- Man made causes: Some man made causes of deforestation are cutting of wood for furniture, paper and fuel. Clearing land for agriculture , building houses and factories, construction of roadways, railways, dams.
- Natural causes: Natural causes like forest fires, severe drought causes deforestation.

the consequences caused due to Deforestation are decreased number of trees and plants ,harm to natural environment (air,water,etc ). And global warming which is very harmful and its effect is already on the people . This is causing cancer to people in a large number .
But still people are not paying a lot attention to it .This global warming have made a hole in the ozone layer which prevents us from the harmful rays of the sun .
