Discuss culture and climate in context of leadership in
this pandemic environment (COVIT19)?
Answers
Answer:
Workplace culture is typically defined by a number of factors: organizational structures and management practices; employee lifecycle processes (from recruitment to performance management and work/life balance concepts); company philosophies and policies; the type of people that are employed in a business and the way they interact; the company’s mission, vision and values; and—importantly—workplace environment.
COVID-19 pandemic raging throughout the world are not out of a dystopian novel. They are real. They are in front of us, they are on our television screens, they are on our social media pages. But the blurred background to these images that remain out of focus is the unfolding catastrophe of climate change and its deadly grip over the planet. If there is a message in the spread of COVID-19 and its consequences, it is the need for political leadership as much as media to sharpen their focus on climate change.
