Answer:

A zygote is the union of the sperm cell and the egg cell. Also known as a fertilized ovum, the zygote begins as a single cell but divides rapidly in the days following fertilization. After this two-week period of cell division, the zygote eventually becomes an embryo. If this goes well, the embryo becomes a fetus

PLZ MARK THIS ANSWER AS BRAINLIEST!!

After fertilisation, the zygote is transferred to the uterus and it settles on its wall. For the next two weeks, it divides rapidly and eventually becomes an embryo. If this goes well, the embryo keeps dividing. A few weeks or months later, different body parts such as limbs become visible on the embryo, this is called a foetus. The foetus keeps developing internal organs such as heart, bones, lungs, etc. By the end of 9 months, the foetus is completely developed and the baby is ready to come out into this world.
