\bf\huge{\underline{\underline{ANSWER}}}

elections and democracy are closely related

democracy means one can elect their own representative and people can elect their representative and through elections only people can elect their representative

democracy is not correct if there are no elections

democratic country will always be good and sincere manner coz people elected their representative in electionscountry cannot be truly democratic until its citizens have the opportunity to choose their representatives through elections that are free and fair. Critical development efforts cannot succeed without a legitimate and democratically elected government that is responsive and accountable to its citizens.

The nature of democracy is that elected officials are accountable to the people, and they must return to the voters at prescribed intervals to seek their mandate to continue in office. For that reason most democratic constitutions provide that elections are held at fixed regular intervals.
