Due to lack of perennial rivers and less rainfall underground rooms are constructed called tankas or tanks roofs are connected to them by using PVC pipes , whenever rain falls get collected and can be used for many purpose such as drinking etc. Apart from this in some areas of Rajasthan deep pits called johads are made , whenever rain falls they fill with water and also they recharge the groundwater . This water is generally used for irrigation , etc .
