The RRRLF has to perform a pro-active role for the modernization of government libraries in the North Eastern States by taking imminent actions like placing forward a complete proposal to the Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India for strengthening the basic conditions and support in the public/ rural institutions of North East India. As ICT is accessible with us at affordable value, the Government of India, State Governments, local corporate organizations particularly Tea Gardens partners and NGOs should come foremost to make possible sufficient fund for the modernization of public / rural institutions with least ICT foundation and Internet equipments which promotes the common people to get right knowledge at right time. Measures were adopted by the govt. of India for establishing the common library system have also been considered. Besides that, some instructions and suggestions for the development of the practical style and functioning of RRRLF for improving basic support and services administered by the public libraries / rural institutions of North East India have also been explained in brief.
