We had never heard of this temple earlier, but apparently during a recent visit to India, Mark Zuckerberg mentioned taking 'Aashirwaad' (blessings) from Neeb karori Baba 's temple at kainchi Dham long back and attributed his and Facebook's success to this. This created excitement towards this place in my family.

Our visit was to Jim Corbett National park , but we took a small detour - just about 150 km (return) - to specially visit this temple and seek blessings.
Access to the place is easy . From Ramnagar , Kainchi Dham can be visited via Kaladoongi -Nainital - Bhowali route or via Kala Dhoongi- Haldwani route, the former being shorter. 

Good thing about the place is that its neat and clean, unlike most other religious places. Complex has few temples and a statue of Baaba Neeb Karori where believers come for blessings. Temple remains open till 6 pm or so.

Our visit inside the complex was quick- just about 30 minutes in all and this was followed by a munch of pakodas with a quick jaljeera outside the temple complex. Meals options are limited in the vicinity and we lunched at a small shop on return journey via Nainital.
