Discuss in detail the role of swallow in the story of " The Happy Prince".

The swallow is a sparrow which helps the the statue of happy prince to make the poor happy. The swallow came to the happy prince's statue to sleep for night and the after that the happy prince started to make wishes to the swallow to accomplish his work to make everyone happy.
What was the role of "swallow" in happy prince :-
→ The happy prince was a statue who was placed in the center of the city. He was watching everthing that what the people wanted etc, one day when swallows were migrating one swallow was tired and took the shelter on the prince's leg
→ The prince wanted to help those people who wanted help in money,etc bit, he was not able to do it because he was a statue, therefore that swallow asked the prince that he will help him.
→ The role of swallow was the he fulfilled the wish of the happy prince by giving rubies, gild leaf, etc to the needy people. The happy prince guided him that whom to give rubies, gold leaf etc.
