Actually it is characterized by very low or deficit in abstract thinking which makes the schizophrenic patient's life extremely difficult in day to day social interactions and meetings with their friends. Schizophrenia is a mental illness or mental disorder which is primarily characteristically shown by:

1) Distorted and altercation of thoughts including unable to show any signs of abstract thinking and reasoning, concrete thinking might or may be present in small amounts.

2) Auditory Hallucinations are common in schizophrenic patients which are commanded by an unknown voice in their heads to perform certain illegal and legal actions, otherwise, the voice starts to threaten and kill the schizophrenic individual leading to some accidents, which, one would certainly avoid.

3) Delusion is another trait of schizophrenia, in this the schizophrenic patient starts to believe something which is not true, despite being a strong evidence against the falsely claimed theory. It will be impossible to break the wall and provide evidential realistic proven claims in the contrary, only some of the non-drug and drug therapy (anyone of them) will help to cure these unusual traits.

4) The schizophrenic patients are always having a feeling of being controlled by others, such as, from one patient, he/she is being controlled by a futuristic robot with immense amount of power and he does not have the control over his own body, not in the will of his boundary.

5) Another trait of the schizophrenic patients is, being sensed of an influencing nature causing the patients to follow their commands, that too, blindly even without sensing reality, making some grave situations.

6) Schizophrenia is also characterized by a shallowness of an emotionally led life, the will pay no need to ones emotional value and always disagree, they are non-motivating and emotionless.
